Celebrating 100 years of Girl Scouts
Opening February 5, 2012, Lanterman House will host a very special exhibition to celebrate the centennial of the Girl Scouts of America. Developed in conjunction with the LA Council's Heritage Committee, the exhibition will be on display through June 28, 2012.
All current and adult Girl Scouts are invited to a 100th Birthday Celebration for the Girl Scouts, to be held on Sunday, March 18 from 1:00 to 3:00 pm. Event admission is $5.00, includes a tour of the exhibition and refreshments, and current scouts will receive a patch. The Lanterman Music Fund
The Lanterman Music fund is a special fundraising effort to support the preservation and management of the Lanterman sheet music collection and the live performance of classic American music at the Lanterman House -- events such as the annual Lanterman Ragtime Tea Dance.
